Publications and Reports
Publications and reports that have been produced during the course of the Northwick Manor Community Heritage Project, or that the project has drawn upon can be viewed here. This includes the research of local volunteers and the memories of local people recorded between 2008 and 2010.
- Lithic Assemblage from Bevere - An archaeological prospection carried out in 1982, consisting of a random field walking surface collection, recovered 31 knapped stones and 1 hammer stone from Bevere, Worcestershire (NGR: SO 8410 5960). Although the assemblage contains no diagnostic dateable artefacts, a substantial number of the analysed lithics exhibit manufacture characteristics associated with Mesolithic stone tools typology. It is assumed that the lithic scatters represent a portion of some prehistoric activities, but whether multiple occupations occurred is not recognised. - Northwick and Bevere by Residents Past and Present A short publication documenting the memories and research of local people undertaken as part of the Northwick project. Designed to be printed as a double-sided document and folded into an A5 booklet.
- An archaeological desk-based assessment of Northwick and Bevere A report undertaken by University of Bristol student Phredd Groves, as a volunteer working on the Northwick Manor Community Heritage Project.
