Reading Old Writing
Our next event will be a workshop on Palaeography (reading old writing) on Tuesday
March
31st, 7-9pm. This will take place at the History Centre in Trinity Street and will be an opportunity to learn how to transcribe a fascinating 16th century document, recently discovered, and shedding new light on the site of the Bishop's Manor of Northwick. If you would like to attend this free event, please call Sheena Payne-Lunn on 01905 721133, or email archaeology@worcester.gov.uk.

The Northwick Manor Oral History recordings will be available to listen to from now until February 24th at The Commandery Museum, Sidbury. A mini-exhibition inspired by the Oral History 'sound bites' was produced by the Worcestershire Young Archaeologists' Club and can also be viewed.
